Having been artistically inclined from an early age, I always felt a need to create. After exploring wood carving, painting, and landscape photography; I discovered that I could best express myself using glass as a medium. I began with one old ceramic kiln inherited from my grandmother’s Fort Worth ceramic shop and started to teach myself how to work with warm glass. Now, years later I have several glass kilns which sometimes run around the clock. I specialize in kiln-fused and stained glass, but periodically wander off into glass casting and torch-work projects as well. I love to experiment with different techniques to expand my knowledge of the medium, and I enjoy the technical aspects of glass as much as the creative side.
